Ethnic Minority at SDM Live 2015

This live recording gives you a feeling that “I want to hear any sound of each instrument without missing anything!” As I listened, I heard the groove of the whole band. The music has a core and brings the listener the subtle nuances of music. The regulation of tension in the music is also very easy to convey. I am thrilled with the band’s music that is constantly changing freely! While experiencing the sense of unity of the band, all of the individual parts can be heard clearly. It is a sound with a feeling of transparency while also having a presence. 

I focused on each instrument and listened. You hear the swell of sound that was spontaneous. The drum definitely sounded a bit of a snare roll and a small bit of a ghost note. And the sound of the cymbal is beautiful! The bass also had elasticity in the strings, and it was a comfortable groovy feeling. 

This is an album where the sounds melt together. But the secret that can clearly be heard here is DSD recording. To that we brought another secret ingredient in this live recording. Rather than adjusting the recorded sound later, we arranged the sound of the room in advance. This enabled us, when recording, to experience each musical part being already exquisite balanced! I think that the sound of the room enabled the players to feel more comfortable playing. I encourage everyone to please have a listen and enjoy!
