Vadym Kholodenko

A gold medalist of the prestigious Van Cliburn International Competition, Vadym Kholodenko has the gift of captivating the attention of audiences and critics alike.

He was born in Kiev and gave his first concerts at the age of thirteen in the United States, China, Hungary, and Croatia.  After his studies in Ukraine, he continued his training in Vera Gornostayeva’s class at the Moscow Conservatory of Music.

He now performs in the world’s leading concert halls and with front-rank orchestras in a very varied repertory (from Baroque to contemporary by way of jazz improvisations).  The great Russian composers play a central role in his programs.
