{"product_id":"alpha1259-mozart-complete-flute-quartets","title":"Mozart: Complete Flute Quartets","description":"This release brings together Mozart's four flute quartets — K.285, K.285a, K.285b, and K.298 — alongside Hoffmeister's own arrangement for flute quartet of the Piano Sonata K.311. The programme traces the works' scattered origins, from the 1777–78 Mannheim commission from flute-loving amateur Ferdinand Dejean through to Mozart's later Vienna years, including K.298's playful finale built on a popular Paisiello aria and a French street tune.\r\n\r\nAnna Besson, founding member of A Nocte Temporis alongside Reinoud Van Mechelen, brings a personal thread to the recording: she first played these quartets at fifteen, on a Nile riverboat cruise, and returns to them here twenty years later. Joined by violinist Louis Créac'h, violist Manuela Bucher, and cellist Ronan Kernoa, the ensemble makes the case — as Besson puts it — that Mozart's famous reluctance about writing for flute never once compromised his invention.\r\n\r\nAnna Besson - flute\r\nLouis Créac'h - violin\r\nManuela Bucher - viola\r\nRonan Kernoa - cello\r\nA Nocte Temporis - early music ensemble","brand":"Alpha Classics","offers":[{"title":"DSD 512 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57300001128772,"sku":"ALPHA1259-21","price":35.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 256 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57300001161540,"sku":"ALPHA1259-16","price":29.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"WAV 192 kHz \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57300001194308,"sku":"ALPHA1259-3","price":23.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57300001227076,"sku":"ALPHA1259-15","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 96 kHz \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57300001259844,"sku":"ALPHA1259-7","price":19.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57300001292612,"sku":"ALPHA1259-14","price":23.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DXD 24 Bit \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57347947987268,"sku":"ALPHA1259-22","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0966\/7900\/2436\/files\/ALPHA1259.jpg?v=1789832689","url":"https:\/\/www.nativedsd.com\/products\/alpha1259-mozart-complete-flute-quartets","provider":"NativeDSD Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
