Coventry was the proprietor of the English music publisher Coventry \u0026amp; Hollier and a great admirer of his friend Mendelssohn. As background for their correspondence in late summer of 1844, Mendelssohn had been commissioned to write organ music by Coventry \u0026amp; Hollier, organ music intended for the English market. The term voluntary is used for a piece of organ music bearing a certain resemblance to the classical French overture, with a slow followed by a fast movement.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Lawo Classics","offers":[{"title":"FLAC 96 kHz \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739099672900,"sku":"LWC1108-7","price":19.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 192 kHz \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739099705668,"sku":"LWC1108-9","price":20.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 96 kHz \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739099738436,"sku":"LWC1108-10","price":19.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739099771204,"sku":"LWC1108-14","price":23.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739099803972,"sku":"LWC1108-15","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739099836740,"sku":"LWC1108-17","price":23.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739099869508,"sku":"LWC1108-18","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DXD 24 Bit \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739099902276,"sku":"LWC1108-22","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DXD 24 Bit \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739099935044,"sku":"LWC1108-23","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 192 kHz \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57309720052036,"sku":"LWC1108-6","price":20.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 2ch Stereo \u0026 5ch Surround","offer_id":57335948706116,"sku":"LWC1108S1417","price":32.49,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 2ch Stereo \u0026 5ch Surround","offer_id":57335948738884,"sku":"LWC1108S1517","price":34.49,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0966\/7900\/2436\/files\/LWC1108-1.jpg?v=1790487197","url":"https:\/\/www.nativedsd.com\/products\/lwc1108-mendelssohn-and-the-organ-sonata","provider":"NativeDSD Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
