{"product_id":"lwc1122-beethoven-string-trio-op-3-serenade-op-8","title":"Beethoven String Trio Op. 3 | Serenade Op. 8","description":"Over a few short years of the 1790s, Beethoven devoted special attention to a genre to which he would not return later in his life: the string trio. Five large-scale compositions would be the result. The first two, which are the subject of this recording, had likely been committed to paper by the time Beethoven traveled to Vienna to study with Haydn. Their formal aspects alone seem to link them to the suite form of the Baroque more closely than the last three (op. 9), in which Beethoven cultivated the classical sonata form, albeit somewhat removed from the essentially entertaining “serenade style” (the Notturno) refined by Mozart.\r\n\r\nHaving completed his string trios — and they remain 220 years later the genre’s “sine qua non” — the way was clear for him to follow in Haydn’s footsteps. The Six Quartets, op. 18, are eighteenth-century works, though published just after the turn of the century. This was the form in which Beethoven, at irregular intervals, created his absolute masterpieces.\r\n\r\n\u003cstrong\u003eSsens Trio\u003c\/strong\u003e\r\nSølve Sigerland, Violin\r\nHenninge Landaas, Viola\r\nEllen Margrete Flesjø, Cello","brand":"Lawo Classics","offers":[{"title":"FLAC 96 kHz \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739132604740,"sku":"LWC1122-7","price":19.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 192 kHz \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739132637508,"sku":"LWC1122-9","price":20.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 96 kHz \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739132670276,"sku":"LWC1122-10","price":19.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739132703044,"sku":"LWC1122-14","price":23.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739132735812,"sku":"LWC1122-15","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739132768580,"sku":"LWC1122-17","price":23.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739132801348,"sku":"LWC1122-18","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DXD 24 Bit \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":56739132834116,"sku":"LWC1122-22","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DXD 24 Bit \/ 5ch Surround","offer_id":56739132866884,"sku":"LWC1122-23","price":25.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"FLAC 192 kHz \/ 2ch Stereo","offer_id":57310069358916,"sku":"LWC1122-6","price":20.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 64 \/ 2ch Stereo \u0026 5ch Surround","offer_id":57335998972228,"sku":"LWC1122S1417","price":32.49,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"DSD 128 \/ 2ch Stereo \u0026 5ch Surround","offer_id":57335999004996,"sku":"LWC1122S1517","price":34.49,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0966\/7900\/2436\/files\/LWC1122.jpg?v=1790493179","url":"https:\/\/www.nativedsd.com\/products\/lwc1122-beethoven-string-trio-op-3-serenade-op-8","provider":"NativeDSD Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
