New Website Information

New website information

Welcome to the new NativeDSD.com

Our team has worked for many months on the new store: where you browse, read, listen, keep wishlists and, of course, buy and download your music. Below you'll find how things work now, what's new and what's coming.

Anything new can have its quirks. If you run into one, please tell us through the Feedback tab on the left side of every page.

What's new, what's changed, what's coming

What's new

  • A much faster website.
  • Play previews straight from the homepage and from Journal articles, in a mini-player at the bottom of the page.
  • A new Getting started with DSD guide, with our free Starter Pack to try DSD for yourself.
  • A Label directory with genre filters, to discover all the labels we work with.
  • The Journal shows the albums in each article, with a play button, and every writer has their own page.
  • Read what other listeners think on our Customer reviews page.
  • Dark mode, with the moon icon at the top right, for late-night listening sessions.
  • Our blog has a new name, The Journal, with better readability and styling.
  • The DSD Database now lives on the website: DACs, players, software and recorders in one place.
  • More currencies, with better rates, especially for USD, thanks to lower transaction fees.
  • The website, including all album covers, now loads properly in mainland China.

What's changed

  • Plus members see their member price in the cart when logged in, no longer on the album page.
  • After you place an order, it can take up to 30 seconds before it appears in your account and in the NativeDSD Downloader.
  • Newsletters now come from Shopify, which our store runs on, instead of Intercom. Turn on email marketing in your Profile to keep receiving them.

On the roadmap

  • PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay are coming back. Until then, please use a credit card or a local payment method.
  • Write an album review as a verified customer.
  • A page for every artist, with all their albums at NativeDSD.
  • A notice on album pages you've already bought.
  • A direct download link in your order confirmation email.
  • A player that keeps playing while you browse the whole store, including album pages.
Questions

Frequently asked

How do I log in to the new store?

Click the profile icon at the top right and enter the email address you've always used with NativeDSD. You'll receive a one-time code by email: enter it and you're in. The site keeps you logged in for up to a year, unless you switch browsers or clear your cookies; then simply request a new code.

I can't find a previous purchase

First check that you're logged in with the email address you used for that purchase. Still missing something? Contact us or email support@nativedsd.com and we'll look into it.

Where did my Plus member discount go?

It's still there. Log in with the email address of your membership and add an album to your cart: the member price is applied in the cart and at checkout.

How do I keep receiving the newsletter?

Our newsletters are now sent through Shopify. In your Profile, turn on email as your marketing preference.

I have trouble downloading my music

Make sure you use the latest version of the NativeDSD Downloader: Get it in your account. Still stuck? Email support@nativedsd.com with the album, the format you bought, what happens when you try to download, and any error message.
