Sacred Feast

For years, Tom Jung had been searching for the most lifelike method of recording a live musical performance. The choral performances on Sacred Feast, recorded in DSD Stereo and 5 Channel DSD Surround Sound provided listeners with a synergy of choral music in a wonderful acoustic space. Gaudeamus features a hand-selected group of superb singers under the direction of Paul Halley, a veteran choir director/composer/organist. Sacred Feast was originally developed to demonstrate Multichannel DSD recording technology from Sony and Phillips. This album became a hit at the high-fidelity end of the music industry.
