Sonho Meu: Live In Irvine

Sonho Meu: Live in Irvine is the Brazilian project captured live as the poignant farewell recording from New York Voices, the Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble internationally acclaimed for its flawless harmonies, inventive arrangements and extraordinary ensemble precision. The album has been released by 2xHD Mastering and Resonance Records. After more than 35 years together, the legendary quartet will retire in 2026, bringing to a close one of the most celebrated careers in vocal Jazz. Often mentioned alongside the legendary traditions of The Hi-Lo’s, The Four Freshmen, Singers Unlimited and Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices nevertheless forged a sound entirely their own—warm, daring, playful and impossibly refined. Their phrasing is effortless, their timing impeccable, and their vocal architecture simply breathtaking. Sonho Meu beautifully captures the elegance, sophistication and musical chemistry that made New York Voices true vocal giants of Jazz.
