This project stems from our commitment to rediscovering and promoting the works of female composers from the past. It is a cultural and artistic initiative that we feel is deeply necessary at this crucial moment in history, when we need to reinterpret the history of music from a more equitable perspective.

For centuries, many female composers have been relegated to the sidelines: their works have remained unpublished, been ignored by official historiography or, in some cases, attributed to their male counterparts. The most significant aspect of our commitment lies in the public performance of this music. Including it in concert programmes means rescuing it from oblivion, restoring it to the public and enabling its rediscovery based on its authentic artistic value.

For us, this commitment represents not only an act of historical justice, but also an opportunity for artistic enrichment, which calls upon the performer to assume a cultural and ethical responsibility that extends beyond the mere act of performance.
