| Tangent is the first recording of Simple Math with Charles Blenzig. Joined by JJ Mazza on drums and Hunter Roberts on electric and upright bass, Charles Blenzig's NYC jazz background meets a Colorado vibe. Tangent is comprised of creative jazz arrangements of modern pop songs including cuts by Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Radio Head and D'Angelo. Simple Math creates a blend of Hip Hop, Latin, R&B, Tango, Jazz and Rock influences. Recorded in DSD by Octave Records engineer Jay Elliott, this album is a great addition to any good audiophile collection.
