In the new DSD release Carmen Gomes Sings The Blues, Carmen Gomes Inc. with vocalist Carmen Gomes, guitarist Folker Tettero, bassist Peter Bjørnild and drummer Bert Kamsteeg deliver a Live Concert Performance of songs from the classic album “Harry Belafonte Sings The Blues”. It’s an album that influenced Gomes and we think you will enjoy her new performance of these memorable tracks. "Normally when recording a live concert, I record the ”dress rehearsal” as well in order to have repair material just in case parts of the actual concert does not go as planned. However due to a technical failure, which I only managed to solve 10 minutes (!) before the start of the concert, this was no longer possible. So, this recording is all one-take!" Another gem from Sound Liaison, this recording is Carmen Gomes' take on Harry Belafonte's Belafonte Sings the Blues. Recorded in DXD, this recording is available in any high Rez flavor you prefer. The sound is killer.

Carmen Gomes recently released the albums 'Belafonte Sings The Blues' and 'Don't You Cry', with the latest release being recorded with one microphone.

With her warm voice and precise timing, she gives a particularly tasteful interpretation of classic Jazz songs and repertoire.

If you like her mellow style, this is gonna get played quite a lot. It's her take on Harry Belafonte's 'Belafonte Sings the Blues' album. It's superb, breathtaking.

Fantastic album by Carmen Gomes Inc (Audiophile Queen). A very enjoyable album with great vocals and layers of detail.

This album is regularly used as a reference by a highly regarded and trusted YouTube Head-Fi reviewer by the name of Currawong. A professional, no nonsense, no hype, tell it like it is equipment reviewer.

This is my third Carmen Gomes Inc. album and, like the others, it did not disappoint. Great sound with songs and playing to match.
