Ten Performances. One Microphone.

The Sound Liaison Signature Series Vol. 1 – One-Mic Recordings sampler brings together 10 performances that capture the essence of Sound Liaison’s One Microphone Recordings. Every track was recorded with a single Josephson Engineering C700S stereo microphone. Rather than placing microphones around the musicians, we place the musicians around the microphone, creating the balance, depth and stereo image naturally in the room. What is captured is not a collection of individual instruments assembled later, but one complete performance in one acoustic space — musicians listening, responding and creating together. Featuring music from Carmen Gomes Inc., Feenbrothers, Reinier Voet & Pigalle44, RED, Thomas Baggerman Trio, Paul Berner, David Lukacs, Alexander Brott, Tim Langedijk, Iman Spaargaren, Peter Bjørnild, Simon Rigter and Michael Moore. Recorded in DXD 352.8kHz and Pure DSD 256, these ten selections range from intimate duos to full jazz ensembles and live performances. All Formats are the same price. Choose one of our carefully converted versions to match your playback system. Whichever format you choose, our goal remains the same: to bring you as close as possible to the musicians.
