The Fonè label does not need an introduction. Their recordings are excellent.
I discovered Enzo Pietropaoli on the album La Notte. During the recent NativeDSD Jazz sale I gave this album a try and I am pleased I did.
Eleonora ‘s voice is excellent, good cover of know songs. The combination of her voice with Enzo’s contrabass is perfect.
Coup de coeur for Tracks: 3, 4 and 9.
Beautiful recording, with excellent instrument separation. Pleasant to listen to and an excellent pianist!!!! I bought it in DXD 24-bit 358.2 kHz. I highly recommend listening to this album in the late afternoon.
This album is excellent!!!! Vibrant Fusion Jazz. Very pleasant to listen to and very, very well recorded!!!! I highly recommend this album!!!! I bought it in Pure DSD 256 Stereo.
This album is simply marvelous! The performance is excellent. It had me on the edge of my seat. The cadenzas are very exciting; modern, yet in keeping with Beethoven’s work. I absolutely love these. The recording is very fine, I have the DSD 256 version. I’m sure I shall be returning to this album time and time again. Highly recommended.
The album 434 by Reinless is a true Jazz Fusion gem that takes on a new life in this format. The band's musicianship is stunning. There is an organic virtuosity where every instrument has its own space and air. The musical passages move with a mastery that evokes the best of funk and soul, yet with a creative freedom that only avant-garde jazz allows.
Special recognition goes to Vladas Straupas at Analog Father Studios. His work transferring the Analog Master Tape directly to DSD is flawless. He has managed to preserve that warmth and dynamics often lost in the digital realm, allowing us to hear the musicians' original intent with total transparency. It is an artistic delight that honors both the technical skill and the spirit of analog recording.
Sounds of Colours is a sensory experience that redefines what we expect from contemporary Jazz. The Gabor Varga Jazz Quartet achieves a masterful balance between technical virtuosity and deep emotional sensitivity. Every musical passage is infused with a vibrant atmosphere, where Varga’s piano guides the listener through sonic textures that seem painted in the air, living up to the album's title.
The quality of this work is exceptional, being a Pure DSD 128 Stereo recording. The recording allows the drum dynamics, the body of the double bass, and the brilliance of the brass to be felt with an astonishing physical presence. It is an album where the silence between notes is as important as the music itself, creating a soundscape full of artistic references and a transparency that only high-end equipment can fully reveal.

This is my first encounter with the Rembrandt Trio, and I am not disappointed. Purchased in Pure DSD 256 this recording sounds wonderfully light and airy with plenty of rich texture to the sound production. For me September Song is particularly enjoyable.
The music type of this album may not fit everyone. But to me it is the best soundstage I have heard in my listening room. Track 2, June 21 is unreal. If you have a very good chain of audio gear between the DSD file and your ears, you will be served a treat.
Highly recommended. Kudos to Sound Liaison for this amazing recording.
Fabulous trio that makes every note count. I discovered this recording last week and can’t stop listening. Each song flows masterfully into the next and you are not ready for the recording to end. Superb music for any time of day or night! I purchased this on DSD 256 and it has been one of the best recordings that I have ever heard.
I downloaded the DSD 256 version of this album and enjoyed this beautiful Jazz Trio on my audio setup. The technical quality of this recording is impeccable in all respects.
From an artistic point of view I would define it as Twilight Jazz that highlights the state of mind of the musicians, especially the pianist, He stands out in the entire succession of tracks with a dreamy, meditative touch.
Certainly appreciated by purist audiophiles who love to combine the technical and artistic beauty of recordings, I appreciated the Double Bass recording method in its naturalness and unemphasized timbral correctness as often happens in modern recordings, leaving due sonic space for the piano which represents the common thread of this narrative.
Surely for the ability to excite the listener it definitely deserves the Album of the Year Award for Best Jazz DSD album.

One of my favorite pianists. I happily own all of Anna Fedorova's albums at NativeDSD. She keeps getting better and better with each new recording. On this one, her interpretation of Gershwin is breathtaking! She clearly feels the Jazz.
Anna, Gonzalez and the orchestra are tightly knit. Jared Sacks and his team captured the instruments and concert hall acoustics wonderfully. This is one of their best in my opinion, and the NativeDSD team produced Beautiful DSD. Recording in DSD 256 really paid off.
An excellent album of quiet and contemplative Piano Jazz, stunningly recorded in Pure DSD 256.
I particularly enjoy listening to Piano Jazz of this quality and recording through good headphones. I listened using my HIFiMan HE1000 Stealth headphones coupled with my aging but still excellent Astell & Kern SP2000 DAP. Highly recommended!
Well recorded and excellent when listening through a DSD 512 system. Keep in mind Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are a sampling of classical music, studio recorded, with a variety of instrument and vocal configurations. As such, many of the songs are more home ballroom sounding than expansive theater sounding, and none are live.
The resolution and instrument differentiation is exceptional. The quality of recording and production is uniform across all the songs. Overall, both albums are very pleasing to listen to, even if some of the compositions are not my particular favored music style.
It is a good starter combination if one is just starting to build out their DSD library and are seeking technical production excellence.
Once in a blue moon there comes an album that is absolutely perfect for that moment of tranquility right after sunset. This one I'd pair with a glass of white. Maybe even a cocktail. Just lean back and let the music flow...
It turned out to be an interesting, quite calm album. With a light, warm, transparent-airy sound, which will definitely warm you on quiet winter evenings!
Purchased Format: Pure DSD 256.
Audio System: Chord Poly/Mojo 2 and Audeze LCD-X headphones.
Purchased and downloaded the DSD 64 version and heard it on my Ibasso DX340 with couple of different IEMs. The mastering is spot on with great layering and separation. The micro details presented are immaculate. Deserving of its Album of the Year award.
NativeDSD helped me recover my lost DSD 512 music files instantly. i am very appreciated to Jonas understanding my situation. Once again thank you very much 🙏. i rate this app 6 stars reliable and must have with this music app.
My sincere advice - add more 768 Khz files and Chinese Jazz. That would be perfect.
I was very impressed with the performance. Beethoven's energy and nuance are conveyed masterfully.
The recording quality is amazing. The only mishap by sound engineers was the recording of "Sonata No. 1 in F Major". The microphone buzzing noise is vividly present in the background. The rest is immaculate.
One of best recordings i have ever listened to. The realism is astonishing. It seems to have the players in my living room. Thanks a lot, Giulio Cesare Ricci.
