Nouon

Nouon is a quartet of musicians based in Japan: Azusa Yamada (Vibraphone), Kevin McHuge (Fender Rhodes), Huw Lloyd (Contrabass and Clarinet) and Junpei Yamamoto (Drums). Their music is a unique combination of instrumentation and sound. The quartet’s original songs express their own musical world. The sounds of the Nouon ensemble and feature improvisations that are knitted like magic using a variety of music styles including contemporary music and jazz that are unique to these four musicians. Their albums are full of alternative interpretations of familiar compositions and a lot of story-rich songs.
