Norman Nelson

Norman Nelson won a scholarship to the RAM at 16 years old, studied with George Strattan at the RCM and with Sascha Lasserson.

He joined the London Philharmonic in 1951 and was a founding member of the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. In 1963 he moved to Canada where he developed his musical activities in several orchestral and chamber groups.
