Robin Peter Müller

Robin Peter Müller was born in Dresden, where he completed most of his violin studies, he also studied in Weimar and Lugano with Reinhard Ulbricht, Matthias Wollong and Valerie Gradow. He received other valuable artistic stimulus from Sir Colin Davies, Thomas Zehetmair, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Stefan Mai, and Norbert Brainin. After a short membership in the European Union Chamber Orchestra he was appointed as concert master of Theater Pforzheim in 2007. Between 2008 and 2010 he worked as concert master of the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim. Furthermore he appears regularly as a guest concert master at the Bavarian Chamber Orchestra, the South-West German Chamber Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra, Chaarts (Chamber Artists, Switzerland) as well as the Luxemburg Chamber Orchestra. For several years he has devoted himself to historically informed performance together with La Folia Barockorchester, which he founded. Within a short period of time he succeeded in gaining national and international acclaim with this young orchestra.
