The mission of HGO is to enrich our diverse community through the art of opera. We will do so by creating, curating, exploring, and producing outstanding experiences centered around the human voice.

Our greatest achievement day-in and day-out is the privilege of bringing world-class art to Houston. And through our relentless pursuit to provide to our community, we have had the honor of being the only opera house in the world to receive an Emmy, a Grammy, and a Tony.
