On her new album, Katja Werker sings eleven songs about the search for happiness and inner balance. The songs are about getting back up after difficult times and valuing yourself. The album is filled with positive messages, human emotions, and empowering thoughts. For example, the song “Steh auf, geh raus” (Stand up, go out) is a powerful anthem of encouragement, urging listeners to step out of their fears and feel their own worth. “Es ist wie es ist” (It is what it is) appeals to remain calm and trust in oneself. “Alles kommt wieder” (Everything comes again) calls for a fresh start.

Katja Werker’s new songs are poetic and so light they seem to float – yet they never lose touch with reality. The exceptional singer masterfully complements her lyrical texts with powerful melodies. Gert Neumann and Ian Melrose, with their silvery-sounding steel-string guitar playing, enhance the brightness of the songs and allow the exceptional singer’s voice to shine.
