The Breton Rhapsodies centers on Camille Saint-Saëns’ remarkable Trois Rhapsodies sur des Cantiques Bretons, Op. 7, a colorful and evocative work inspired by traditional Breton melodies. The program is complemented by music from César Franck, Léon Boëllmann and contemporary Canadian composer Andrew Ager, offering a compelling survey of French and French-inspired organ repertoire.
