Franz Liszt on the Royal Albert Hall WIllis Organ featuring organist Nicolas Kynaston is a new album from Base2 Music. The album features an Original Analog Tape Recording by David Woodford of Cathedral Recordings in 1968 on 15 ips half track Analog Tape.

For this NativeDSD Music release, there has been no processing or modifications to the original recording. There is some tape hiss evident in the quieter passages but it was decided that this excellent tape recording by David Woodford would be much better with no additional post processing as doing so would take the sparkle away from the original sound.

The NativeDSD edition is a true Analog Tape to DSD transcription in 2023 by Jake Purches at Base2 Music. It was transferred to the Stereo DSD bit rates available from NativeDSD.Com by Tom Caulfield in the DSD domain using the Signalyst HQ Player 4 Professional mastering software.
