You will find links and information on the full albums that these Stereo and Multichannel DSD sample tracks are taken from. This includes information on the corresponding Artists, Albums & Labels in the detailed track listing in the PDF booklet.
NativeDSD offers Stereo, Binaural and 5 Channel Surround Sound DSD, DXD and FLAC files. The DXD and DSD files come directly from the labels. The FLAC files are available in High Resolution 24 bit 96 kHz and 24 bit 192 kHz PCM – created from DSD and DXD editions of the albums by Bit Perfect, using their unique “Zephiir” conversion process which produces high quality Stereo FLAC files and 5 Channel FLAC files. This sampler is available in DSD only.

Hurray, with the Fiio Music app my smartphone plays the DSD 64 format!
Vivaldi’s piece is particularly sublime. I’ll definitely take some full albums. However, I will have to limit myself to DSD 64 because DSD 128 does not seem compatible with Fiio Music. But it’s already fantastic, thanks!

I am glad to have embarked on this digital journey. The starter pack has a taste of many genres. I have listened to this recording through my Focal Clear headphones using my treasured MicroZOTL tube headphone amp and experienced a genuine soundstage on all counts.
I used my Marantz SA10 Super Audio CD (SACD) Player as a Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) and the DSD .dsf files are Stereo DSD 128. My very best CDs cannot compete with the airy separation, clarity and depth of these DSD Downloads from NativeDSD.
I could not detect any harshness in the upper frequencies or boomy low frequencies so often heard on less refined recordings. The recording engineer still has to take precautions when recording music in DSD. The microphones have to be carefully placed to accomplish such a sound stage recording. All of the musicians had to be mentally and physically prepared when the recording starts. It still comes down to the quality of the performance as well. Top to bottom, it is a monumental task to arrive at the excellence of the overall performance and recording. Job well done!
I sincerely appreciate the fact that you can listen to a short sample of all of the DSD recordings that NativeDSD has to offer. This gives me a chance to audition any potential purchases.
