Twin-Headed Dragon showcases the power, energy and spirit of Disaster Artist in a way that no other recording has. With this album, twin brothers Jo and Chris Mayo capture the dynamic rhythms of their live drum/bass/vocal show and bring a much-needed dose of Hardcore to High Res.

Disaster Artist features identical twins Jo and Chris Mayo, on drums and bass respectively, with vocals from both. After playing in several bands they decided to return to their roots and formally established Disaster Artist in 2022 as a two-piece artistic endeavor. With a genre-bending history that has ranged from acoustic ballads to EDM, this continually evolving Art Punk duo now arms themselves with bass, drums and microphones to take to the musical battlefield.

A Message from the Band

The idea of Twin-Headed Dragon was to capture the moment; to make the listener feel like they are at a Disaster Artist show standing right next to the band.

The great thing about DSD is the sense of space that the format allows, and what we love about this recording is that is that the energy of a live performance comes through loud and clear.

We’re surprised that more rock, punk and metal artists aren’t working in this format, but we’re more than happy to get some speaker cones moving in the audiophile world with this record.
