Electronic Music from Empty Triangles in Pure DSD 128 Stereo – Exclusively at NativeDSD!
Glitch In The Geometry, the fourth album from Empty Triangles at NativeDSD, marks a confident stride forward for the Sydney-based electronic trio. Across 14 brand-new tracks, the band fuses retrowave, chiptune, and crisp electronic textures into a tightly-produced, high-energy release that refuses to sit still. With each track, Empty Triangles shows off their consistent, yet evolving sound — sharper, bolder, and more nostalgic than ever.
From the opening pulse of Please Log In, it’s clear this isn’t just another nostalgic retrowave rehash. Instead, the band bends the genre to their will, blending vintage synths with glitchy breaks and modern production flourishes. Tracks like Friday Afternoon Entertainment and Traffic Department feature layers of shimmering authentic 80s and 90s synthesizers and driving bass lines that are guaranteed to delight.
All tracks were recorded through a custom all-analogue console in Pure DSD 128 Stereo using a Tascam DA-3000. Ultra-smooth compression was applied only when necessary, with minimal limiting used sparingly and gently where required. Additional track editing performed using TASCAM Hi-Res Editor if and when required.
