Founded fifty years ago in California by Amelia S. Haygood, Delos has become one of the most distinctive voices in classical recording. Shaped by Haygood’s vision and later guided by pianist Carol Rosenberger, the label developed a catalogue celebrated for both artistic integrity and technical excellence.

With more than 680 albums featuring renowned artists from the United States and around the world, Delos is particularly admired for its strong advocacy of American composers and its collaborations with exceptional performers and ensembles. The label’s recordings have long been recognised for their clarity, refinement, and musical sensitivity.

In November 2023, Delos entered a new chapter as part of the Outhere Music family, ensuring the continuation of its unique legacy.
