The Abstract plays a mixture between avant-jazz, prog-rock and bitter-sweet “Hungariana”, to name their very special Eastern European distillate of the far away Americana.
Where Are we Going? is the debut album of the trio “The Abstract”. The nine tracks invite to a colourful musical journey, where the listener might encounter some familiar perceptions during the 53 minutes of playtime. Some of the influences and genres are very pronounced, some are more layered between the rows and tones of the energic trio music. Still, The Abstract speaks to us in their own musical dialect.
