The Rembrandt Trio featuting pianist Rembrandt Frerichs, bassist Tony Overwater, and drummer/percussionist Vinsent Planjer is one of the most distinctive voices to come out of the Netherlands’ jazz scene, known for weaving together jazz, Persian and Middle Eastern traditions, and the rare, warm voice of the fortepiano.
