Sérgio Reze and André Mehmari present Invisible Cities: Part Two, the highly anticipated continuation of their Best Selling album recorded in a single day of pure spontaneous creation. Like its predecessor, this new chapter was captured without rehearsals or edits, preserving the same improvisational magic and unique connection that only three decades of musical partnership can provide. The album is available at NativeDSD in Stereo, 5.1 Channel Surround Sound, 5.0.4 Channel Dolby Atmos TrueHD Immersive Audio MKV and 9.1 Channel DXD Discrete.
Invisible Cities: Part Two expands the sonic journey begun in the first part, exploring new landscapes within the same universe of freedom and affection. The tracks, born from free improvisation, reveal even deeper dialogues between Reze’s orchestral drumming and Mehmari’s virtuosic piano and analog synthesizer.
Highlights include moments of rare beauty such as the compositions “Toada ao Anoitecer” and “Solar” (co-created by Mehmari and Reze), along with the captivating “Valsa Gris” (by Mehmari), all reinforcing the unique language of this collaboration.
As with Part One, technology served emotion. Produced, Recorded and Mastered by Gustavo Cândido (ADS), the album was recorded in Discrete Immersive 5.0.4 at 176.4k PCM using equipment including Merging Technologies HAPI MKII converters and preamp, Schoeps and DPA microphones, and Dynaudio monitoring. The immersive mastering in Discrete Immersive, Dolby Atmos TrueHD MKV and 5.1 Surround Sound DSD formats guarantees a deeply immersive listening experience, as if the listener were at the center of the recording studio on that unique day of creation.
Invisible Cities: Part Two is not a sequel, but the natural completion of a whole. Together, both parts form one of the most authentic documents of contemporary Brazilian instrumental music — living proof that in-the-moment creation, when nurtured by decades of partnership, can achieve rare levels of artistic excellence.
